So i buy a lot of guitars. I guess it's a common practice for any serious guitar player, I just like to try everything i can get my hands on. Long time ago i understood that there is other guitars beyond Fender strats and Gibson Les Paul, but having owned myself a few and played a few more i must say although there are great gibson' and fender' axes you can find as good if not better guitar for a fraction of the price.

But that's not how the world works, and that's how those guitars can hold their values so well, when others strugle to re-sell for half price. Recently i bought a 2002 fender stratocaster standard made in mexico. i bought it really cheap, just wanted to try it and have a quick profit. I only had it for 4 days and sold it for an extra 30% of what i paid and still very cheap. But those 4 days i had it with me... oooh how i missed a strat sound. I don't own any single coil guitar at the moment, and i do miss it. i must say this was the best fender that had passed by my hands and i've owned an USA telecaster which i never liked the body porportions. And i didn't like how thick the arm was, almost a baseball bat, but it was growing in to me. And everytime i looked at it on the wall i thought "dang! i wanna play that guitar!" so it was very motivating. Ok, electronics were crap, knobs were noisy and the bridge pickup had some problem, but still i just wanted to play that guitar. And that's how a guitar should make you feel .)
